Brian Travis opening for Amy LaVere at Hotel Utah in SF on Sunday, Sept 20th


Amy LaVere is is an American singer, songwriter, upright bass player and actress based in Memphis, Tennessee. In addition to being a huge musical talent, she has also appeared in music related feature films (Rockabilly queen Wanda Jackson in Walk The Line and a featured role in Craig Brewer’s Black Snake Moan).

Amy is currently on tour in support of her 2014 release Runaway Diaries. Brian Travis is excited and honored to be part of Amy's tour as a supporting act on Sunday, Sept 20th at Hotel Utah in San Francisco!

BT will be performing as an acoustic duo with Bottleneck Bob Fruhlinger on upright bass.

The following night, Wed, April 29th the BTB will be performing a 30 min set as a featured opener for Just Dave's Last Chance Country Jam at Maui Sugar Mill Saloon / 18389 Ventura Blvd, Tarzana California 91356. This show is free and our first proper LA gig in well over a year so we hope to reconnect with all our LA fans and friends at the Maui Sugar Mill Saloon!

2014 was all about the road and The Kindness of Strangers Tour. The tour took the music of The Brian Travis Band to Cottage Grove, Eugene and Portland Organ; San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Los Angeles and Joshua Tree, California; Grand Junction, Boulder and Denver Colorado; Oklahoma City, Springfield, Hollister, Branson Missouri; and Athens, Georgia.
